How do you copy video clips to PC from a Nokia phone?

Got a Nokia 6300 and have a load of video clips on it. I’ve tried using the Nokia Suite to copy them over but when I browse the phone’s memory card it shows an empty folder! I know another person has asked the same question; is this a common problem? Can anyone offer any ideas please?
I have a Windows computer and usually the folder pops up when I connect it but now I cant even find the file, I’ve searched everywhere
