What are the conditions for canceling a nokia e71x data plan?

i think i am getting the nokia e71x. the only thing is it might have a data plan. i dont want a data plan. if it has one, can you cancel it when you first get it, or do you have to wait a few months?

I have the slide phone Nokia 6500, right now when i try and record videos it only lets me film 19 seconds on each video clip.
